I could sit here and type in all kinds of boring facts about who I am and what I’ve done in my lifetime. Sure it has been a rather eventful life but what is important here is why I chose to create this website. Maybe down the road I will add some interesting background history of my rather unusual years on this earth. For the time being let me just say that I finally came up with a site that seems useful to the average searcher of genuine junk.
I’m not and I never have been a greedy individual but certain life situations has reduced my finances to the point where I had to develop a means of making a little more money. Yes, in order to add to my final years in a survival mode, of actually living in an enclosed environment, this appeared to be the most logical situation.
I’ve never envisioned myself as a junk collector but over the years I acquired items that I really enjoyed. I guess I felt I should hang on to these treasures because I would never be able find them again in the future. Some items were gifts, some were purchased, some were inherited and some were even created but in the long run they all became junk. All things that have become obsolete and only good for those individuals that are looking for a part of history. Now, I’ve come to the realization that I can’t take them with me when I go. There just isn’t a 18 wheeler large enough to hold them all. Therefore I created this site, “Junky Room Sale”. especially for the everyday treasure hunter. Maybe some of my junk will become some of your treasures. Dane
